The essence of competition is deeply ingrained in us. From spirited board games with loved ones to engaging in local sports, the thrill of competing is universal. This led us to an innovative concept at WeStrive - The WeStrive Games - blending this competitive spirit with the dynamic fitness scene of Austin, Texas.

The WeStrive Games

The essence of competition is deeply ingrained in us. From spirited board games with loved ones to engaging in local sports, the thrill of competing is universal. This led us to an innovative concept at WeStrive - blending this competitive spirit with the dynamic fitness scene of Austin, Texas.

As someone who's orchestrated large tech events for over four years, from intimate gatherings to grand events with 600+ tech enthusiasts, I've seen the power of community firsthand. This year, I decided to merge my event-planning expertise with my 12-year journey in fitness, giving birth to The WeStrive Games.

We aimed to break the mold of typical fitness competitions. Our goal was simple: make our events so enjoyable that participants forget they're exercising. The inaugural WeStrive Games at Central Machine Works in Austin encapsulated this vision perfectly.

Event 1 - Shipping Container Pull

Thanks to Bob's Containers, teams of five tackled the challenge of pulling a 6000-pound container. The atmosphere was electrifying, with teams pushing their limits.

Event 2 - Keg Relay Race

This event was a personal favorite. With 150-pound kegs provided by Central Machine Works, teams engaged in relay races that tested both strength and strategy.

Event 2 - Sandbag Relay

Introducing endurance into the mix, teams raced against time and each other, moving 50-pound sandbags across distances. It was a grueling yet exhilarating challenge.

Event 4 - Tug of War

A true test of strength and teamwork, this event will remain a staple as we grow The WeStrive Games. The unity and effort displayed were remarkable.

Event 5 - Stein Holding Contest

The grand finale was a test of endurance, with participants holding steins for over ten minutes. It was a gripping spectacle, showcasing incredible strength and willpower.

The Future and Beyond:

Looking ahead, we plan to expand The WeStrive Games to multiple cities in 2024, including Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, San Francisco, and Houston. We're excited to explore new venues and create unforgettable experiences in each city.

A Nod to Our Sponsors:

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our sponsors who played a crucial role in the success of the event: Central Machine Works, TND Design, Bob's Containers, DripDrop Hydration, Restore Hyperwellness, and Greatness Wins.

Why WeStrive Games?

These events align perfectly with our mission at WeStrive. They not only elevate our brand in the fitness community but also foster valuable partnerships and strengthen our community ethos. WeStrive is more than just a platform; it's a community-centric ecosystem for health and fitness professionals, offering comprehensive tools for fitness program creation, client management, progression tracking, and much more.

Join the WeStrive Journey:

I envision The WeStrive Games becoming a global phenomenon, a fun and inclusive fitness competition that doesn't require months of preparation. It's about bringing people together to enjoy fitness in a relaxed, enjoyable environment. We're excited to take this concept worldwide and keep infusing fun and uniqueness into each event.
