WeStrive worked side-by-side with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the accelerator, Stitch Crew, over the past 12 weeks in order to help grow our company, establish ourselves in Oklahoma City, and to learn so much about startups. Thank you Stitch Crew!
Over the past 12 weeks, the WeStrive Team has left Los Angeles and moved to the middle of the country...in Oklahoma. So far, Oklahoma City has provided us with an incredible experience and we couldn't be happier! We moved out here to be a part of the Stitch Crew program, stitchcrew.com, and the city has treated us well.
Seen below, our founder, Cory McKane (that's me), pitching our company live on nba.com. It was such a wonderful experience and I really couldn't be happier with the result.
As a company, our number one goal is to constantly improve our product. The personal trainers on our app provide us with some of the greatest feedback possible - and we're very grateful for that. On the other side of the coin, we joined Stitch Crew to help us with all of the things that our customers don't see. We joined the Stitch Crew program to help our company with all of the back-end things like breaking down the steps in our customer journey, finalizing out our branding strategy, and connecting us to investors/mentors to help WeStrive grow.

As a founder, I feel like my biggest shortcomings were early on in the company when I didn't listen to the people around me. I thought I knew everything and that obviously (for a lot of reasons) wasn't true.
I think we can all take a lesson from younger-Cory-McKane on listening to the people around us. As a company, we've chosen to listen to our mentors, and more importantly, listen to the hundreds of personal trainers that we've been so blessed to work with.
Overall, we had an incredible time at the Stitch Crew program. The Accelerator taught us a lot and we know we have a lot more to learn.
